When the unexpected happens, how do you react? Haha.. Well, I really had no choice but to embrace it today. March, the month of the unexpected. Seriously, I did not expect this to happen. It's really funny how sometimes things just suddenly pop out or work out when you least expect it. Some would say they are mere coincidences and nothing more. I would really like to think so too! Hehe.. But someone said this to me awhile ago, "Destiny will always have its way. No matter how much you run, you can't run from it." Hahaha.. For me, I prefer to be in denial about certain things and look at the smaller picture only..=p

Hmmmm.. I wonder what else could happen next?

Oh yeah, it's been very long since I got pranked by someone or more like I fell for someone's prank. So yesterday just had to be THAT day. It started by me getting a call from an unknown number and the person on the phone said this, "The ship carrying your mail-ordered groom has just sunk in the south china sea etc...." Some stupid story. The thing was that I couldn't recognise the person's voice and was so bewildered by the conversation, so I didn't catch onto the prank fast enough. Of course when my brain decided to start working, I finally realised (after talking for almost 5minutes). Haha.. To the person who pranked me, YOU JUST WAIT! I'm so going to prank you back. Muahahahaha! And I won't be falling for anymore of your pranks! *blek*

I've to remind myself about April Fool's day. I'm always a victim of pranks that day. Well, this year I'm so not going to fall for anybody else's lame pranks! So don't even try! Lalalalala..

Here are a few random shots of my cute adorable little doggie, Sport:)

Yesterday night, I went for my very FIRST political "ceramah" by the Barisan Nasional. It was held opposite my house in the playground. Wasn't very interested in going at first but out of curiosity and "something else" I went for it.
Well, the "something else" that enticed me to go was this.

Yups, they were giving out free satay. Hehehehe.. Okay, the smell of it was very tempting even from inside of my house. Well, in the end I didn't eat any at all because I just lost my appetite after that. Haha.. Actually what attracted most of the residents to come for the ceramah was the free satay. As I walked up down amongst the people, I over heard many funny conversations. I thought that everyone would be busy discussing about the upcoming elections and who they were voting for etc.. BUT instead this was the conversation topic of the night - THE SATAY! I'm serious. Everyone was discussing about the satay! Comments like, "the peanut sauce is too sweet", "the satay doesn't taste satay-ish enough", "will there be enough satay for everyone?", "where is the satay from?" were the topics of conversation. I nearly couldn't contain my laughter when I was over hearing all this conversations.

The night started off with music entertainment by some chinese Astro singer winner. The sound system was HORRIBLE. The speakers were blasting so loudly and not that her high-pitched shrill voice helped at all. To top it of, they had problems with the power supply. It kept tripping off. One would have thought, professionals would be hired to get everything properly fixed up. There were so many blunders that night. A LOT! Pretty embarrassing ones too.

I went home for awhile after I couldn't stand being eaten alive by all the mozzies in the field. Then I came back when the candidates arrived to hear their speeches. As the Malaysian trend is, they were LATE! SO VERY LATE! They were supposed to arrive at least an hour earlier, but being MALAYSIANS they had to be late!

This were the two BN candidates.

Well, I heard each of them present their manifestos. And I just wished our politicians could be better speakers! It was very painful to listen to not fluent english and horrible use of grammar all the way. Flyers were given out, pictures were taken etc.. Basically all the normal things that you would expect during the campaigning period.

The night ended with this. A lion dance performance.. It was good:)

I really wonder if there was NO free satay, NO entertainment and NO lion dance performance, whether anyone would even had come. Looking at the turn-out even with all the attractions was pretty pathetic. There was another ceramah going on at the same time actually at Lim Kok Wing by the Opposition party. And it was said, that there was the crowd. They had no food and no entertainment whatsoever but the crowd was there. So it makes one wonder... Think about it. Another thing; if more is offered during all this ceramahs as incentives for people to attend, doesn't it classify to be money politics already? When ang pows are given to the people when they attend, when the people get "gifts" etc... The votes of the people get manipulated.

Does this mean that politics in this country can never be CLEAN and NOT CORRUPTED? Must there always be a monopoly in power? What then is the definition of democracy is this country?

Hmmm.. So many questions without answers!

Well then to all the people who can vote, go out and exercise your right to vote. Your ONE vote can change the future of the country!

"Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a disgrace to any people."

I've officially fallen in love with Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No.1! Finally I've decided after changing my mind countless of times and going through so many other concertos. I'm fickle minded alright.. Hehe.. Somebody will be extremely happy to hear that I chose this. Lalalala..

Today was such a tiring day that I actually fell asleep in one of my classes. Mondays are just such a drag. Class till from 10am till 7pm. Gah!

Still deciding on whether to go for Harry Connick Jr. or not. Only left tomorrow's and Wednesday's night performance. Hmmm..

p/s: u give me something that makes me scared alright..
