This were the two BN candidates.

Well, I heard each of them present their manifestos. And I just wished our politicians could be better speakers! It was very painful to listen to not fluent english and horrible use of grammar all the way. Flyers were given out, pictures were taken etc.. Basically all the normal things that you would expect during the campaigning period.
The night ended with this. A lion dance performance.. It was good:)

I really wonder if there was NO free satay, NO entertainment and NO lion dance performance, whether anyone would even had come. Looking at the turn-out even with all the attractions was pretty pathetic. There was another ceramah going on at the same time actually at Lim Kok Wing by the Opposition party. And it was said, that there was the crowd. They had no food and no entertainment whatsoever but the crowd was there. So it makes one wonder... Think about it. Another thing; if more is offered during all this ceramahs as incentives for people to attend, doesn't it classify to be money politics already? When ang pows are given to the people when they attend, when the people get "gifts" etc... The votes of the people get manipulated.
Does this mean that politics in this country can never be CLEAN and NOT CORRUPTED? Must there always be a monopoly in power? What then is the definition of democracy is this country?
Hmmm.. So many questions without answers!
Well then to all the people who can vote, go out and exercise your right to vote. Your ONE vote can change the future of the country!
