So this year, I had a rather different and eventful Valentines. But I think this is my MOST fulfilling Valentines ever. There's nothing better than to be able to spread God's love on the very commercialized day on how the world defines love. A basic simple truth - God is love. That's it. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails...
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

The best part of it, I managed to spend the entire day with the people that I love:)
Pictures will be up when I get them.. It's these kind of memories that will remain etched in your heart forever.
Out of everything that is happening around me, I'm often full of questions, doubts, and fears.. I feel like a rubberband that is being stretched to its maximum capacity and is on the brink of snapping at any moment.
But then I realize I'm not alone in this. In this journey that I'm going through, I have someone holding my hand every step of the way. I have someone carrying me through the storms.
His answer to me, "My grace is sufficient for you."

2 guys and 2 girls on a very long drive home... Ends up me being spooked out by ghost stories! And having mirror "phobias".. Haha..
Laughing till my stomach aches, making many u-turns, donut & seafood cravings, ostrich debates, hotel toilet hunting...
Oh well, the best unexpected one day trip I've had so far in 2009:)

Sometimes all you need is someone to listen to you. Sometimes all you need is someone to understand you. Sometimes all you need is someone to be there for you. Sometimes all you need is someone to make you feel better. Sometimes all you need is someone to remind you of your purpose for God. Sometimes all you need is someone to tell you the truth. Sometimes all you need is someone to reassure you know that you are not alone in this afterall.
I thank God that the someone is you:)

Searching for something only He can give.
To find security in Him alone.
I am reminded that His faithfulness is great and His mercies are renewed every morning.
Temptation is around every corner. Make a wrong move and there you go!
Somehow I am truly amazed at how we're called to be more and more like Him. Yet how can this be? Isn't impossible?
Eventhough He was tempted in every possible way, yet He was still WITHOUT sin.
So where does that leave me now?
Then I'm reminded once more of His unfailing love.
